Gallivan Center is a multi-level urban connector bridging the Wells Fargo and Chase Bank towers, transforming a simple skywalk into an elevated civic experience. More than a passageway, the structure extends the public realm upward, offering office workers and pedestrians a space to move, pause, and reconnect with the city.
Layered walkways and gently sloping ramps double as viewing platforms overlooking the plaza below. Circulation paths widen into informal gathering zones, encouraging conversation, reflection, and spontaneous interaction. Transparent guardrails and open sightlines maintain a constant visual connection to the surrounding skyline.
The second level anchors the project with a community-focused restaurant that blurs the boundary between movement and occupation. Indoor-outdoor seating invites both tower employees and the public to gather, creating a shared social node within the business district.
Above, a landscaped terrace forms an elevated greenery zone. Native plantings and shaded seating areas offer a restorative retreat that supports mental well-being during the workday. By merging circulation with gathering, Gallivan Center becomes an intentional interruption to routine—an elevated commons that transforms movement into meaningful urban experience.
